The "Segula Skin Change Development Method", as described by the name, will change only the "Skin" which are the parts that the final consumer can see, and will completely carry-over the Platform, Power-train, and basic sub-systems therefore, quality risks are minimum. We will focus on optimizing the quality of the "Variable Parts to be Changed" and will not touch the "Fixed Parts to be Protected".
We will execute the design (Detail Design, A-Class Surfaces, etc.), and the Product Design of all components, as well as the Tooling Design, for the "Variable Parts to be Changed", and protecting the "Fixed Parts to be Protected". This will be realized by visualizing the project status, using the "Development Management, based on the Concept Sheet Process".
As a result, we will be able to develop products with completely different Exterior and Interior Design, by a significantly lower development costs and capital investment compared to a normal Full Upper Body Development.
